During one of our many trade shows in which we participate with passion, we had the chance to experience a truly special encounter.
It was precisely during the Picchiatelli Trophy 2025 to Scanzorosciate, in the province of Bergamo — a very high-level model exhibition — that, right next to the stand Superglue Colle21, was that of Black Arrow by Carlo Leani.
I didn't know him personally yet, but it was enough for me to two words to understand that I had in front of me a real master of model making.
Carlo Leani is a person of rare kindness, calm and deeply passionate.
In five minutes of conversation, I had the impression of knowing him forever: his way of talking about model making conveys love of History, precision and respect for detail.

“Hello, my name is Carlo.
I have always had a passion for model making, since my childhood in the 1980s.
Over time, this passion became something bigger: a way of telling History through small worlds.
In January 2025, I decided to give a name and an identity to this vision: Black Arrow was born.”
With these words, Carlo Leani opens the doors to his creative universe, made of craft plates which are not simple labels for models, but real fragments of history in miniature, small works of art that tell an entire story in just a few centimeters.
